Anar'alah Belore: Founding and Mission

Anar'alah Belore, the Sun's Wrath, is a Horde military group dedicated to the extermination of the Lich King. The majority of the battalion are Sin'dorei -- the force was founded by Knight-Lord Maelthas Bloodhawk at the behest of the Blood Knight Order, in order to safeguard Quel'thalas from Scourge incursion. The Sun's Wrath primary goal is the complete eradication of the Scourge, and the extermination of the Lich King. Warlocks, Forsaken, and Death Knights are not accepted into the battalion.

The battalion numbers roughly 1500 members and is divided into 5 Companies: Stormbay (located in Howling Fjord), Iceheart (located in Borean Tundra), Drakescar (located in Dragonblight), Blightruin (located in Zul'Gurak), and Kingsbane (located in Icecrown). Icecrown is the main campaign area for the Sun's Wrath, with the bulk of their forces currently concentrated there. Fighting against the Scourge is fierce and deadly: Scourge are slaughtered without a trace of hesitation, and all slain soldiers of the battalion are burned, rather than let their corpses fall into the hands of the Scourge to bolster the enemy's forces.

Sun's Wrath usually avoids confrontations with the Alliance, seeing it as a waste of forces better spent against the true enemy. However, unprovoked Alliance attacks have always resulted in swift, deadly retiliation from the battalion against the guilty parties. Roving Alliance adventurers are left strictly alone, and are even to be aided if they are not aggressive towards the Horde. In Icecrown, all enemies of Arthas Menethil are allies.
