Brief Physical Description: Shias is young, barely over the threshold of adulthood. Gentle in features and almost effeminate in slenderness, he bears himself with faltering confidence.

His robes are usually well-tailored, though they show a bit of wear. Two feathers are tied into his long strands of golden-blonde hair, one a sea-blue and the other a deep red, framing the curves of his face. At his neck is a gleaming heart-shaped pendant.

Speaking with a stutter he clearly tries to control, Shias is a touch awkward and shy. While more often then not, his brows are furrowed and his lips pursed in thinly-veiled nervousness, there is a gentle warmth in his smiles.

Brief Personality Description: Timid and taciturn, Shias is not the most sociable of sin'dorei. He generally keeps to himself, though when he does find himself in conversation, he is usually polite and holds intrinsically to tradition. Bowing upon introduction and hardly ever failing to kiss the knuckles of ladies, Shias is a product of the old nobility in his mannerisms.

Shias' mind is shaped largely by guilt. Often called a coward, Shias takes a great deal of care to disprove this belief all he can--however, he often fails miserably. To prove himself, Shias has undertaken dangerous tasks, including working for the Scryers in Netherstorm as well as more recently joining the Sun's Wrath expedition to Northrend.

Shy to the point of awkwardness in most conversation, he speaks with a stutter and generally has a difficult time clearly communicating his thoughts. He seems to be gentle at heart, however, and would rather spend an evening stargazing or even tailoring a shirt than any sort of real combat. His continued attempts (and subsequent failures) to partake in the war effectively baffle and frustrate many. Shias can be rather pathetic, but for the most part, his actions stem from good intentions.

From time to time, however, the remnant of an angry and selfish child bleed through to the adult he is today. Shias can be impulsive, childish, and vengeful.

Likes: Music, alcohol (though he'll rarely drink anymore), cats (even though cats don't like him), shamanism, some kid named Larinath.

Dislikes: Needless fighting, bloodthistle, insects, improper etiquette, sexual innuendo.

Much of Shias' motivation stems from his guilt over what happened to his elder brother, Jaithys. After the Scourge attack on Silvermoon, Jaithys lost his position of nobility after being accused of cowardice and treason. Jaithys blamed Shias for this, and Shias accepted his fault. As Jaithys descended into wretchedness, Shias continued to blame himself for his brother's plight and condition.

After a long an arduous ordeal, the vengeful and mildly psychotic Jaithys was killed without ever regaining his sanity or position of nobility. Shias, in an attempt to attone for his brother's death and what he sees as his own cowardice, continually takes on dangerous tasks to prove his worth.

Hobbies and Talents: Shias' greatest hobby is his tailoring, and he can very often be found either timidly selling his wares in the Bazaar of Silvermoon or working on them on a bench somewhere. He's been known to sew when he's upset or under some kind of stress, which is, well... needlessly often.
