Code of Conduct (OOC)

The OOC rules for the RP group are fairly simple, and pretty much what every here already follows. We're not concerned about minor infractions, since no one is perfect, but constant violation of these does merit a discussion.

1) Don't be a jerk. There's no reason to be rude, impolite, or short-tempered. If you're having a bad day, we feel for ya, but please it don't take out on those around you. Likewise, if someone is having a bad day, don't poke them with sharp sticks. This is -especially- true on Vent. If someone asks you to drop a topic that makes them uncomfortable, please do so. You're all adults and know what's not socially acceptable, so I won't insult ya by listing these things here.

2) If in doubt, ask before acting in RP. Not everyone enjoys surprises. This rule obviously doesn't apply if you already have a long-standing history of working with a RP partner that -enjoys- surprises. We don't expect you to change that -- especially YOU, Shias!

3) Be respectful of others' time. We love RP stories! Just make sure you don't hatch a plot that involves mad scrambling to solve in 'x' amount of time, or requires the entire company to solve. Many of us raid, have school and/or work, so this has been easy for us to follow.

4) Be realistic about your IC limits. Good guys don't always win, bad guys don't always lose. The Commander doesn't automatically kick the First Sword's butt in battle practice, lowbies don't constantly beat up people who've ICly taken on Yogg-Saron and lived to tell the tale. Seana does, however, wear iron knickers 24/7. It's true!

5) Killidan is da bomb. 'Nuff said.
